SMS Rail Lines commenced service in New Jersey in June of 1994 at the Pureland Industrial Complex for one reason only: Service to the Customer. Ten Years and thousands of rail cars handled later, Our Mission hasn't changed: Provide ‘ on-demand ‘ rail car switching services, We now back that up with qualified modal partners to expand our reach to firms needing the economic saving rail service offers along with the agility of truck delivery services to industry located in the Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware and Maryland markets.

SMS Rail Lines also services the Valero Energy Refinery in Paulsboro,NJ and the fast growing Penn Warner Industrial Park in Morrisville, Pa (www.becdc.org). All three locations are offered ‘24/7' freight service.

The year 2006 looks to be another banner year with expansion and new industry. In 2005, recognizable names like Mannington Mills and Rastelli Foods have come to our park to utilize our service. Having the unique advantage of access to all Class 1 Railroads (CSXT and Norfolk Southern RR) provides shippers and receivers the benefit of competitive access to all geographic supplier markets. Working with real estate firms like The Pureland Group and economic development agencies regionally like PIDC in Philadelphia, PA, SMS Rail Lines firmly believes the Delaware Valley Region can re-establish its' economic might by focusing on providing logistical solutions to firms looking to penetrate markets here and abroad.
